Very happy on how fast we got the car. They were out of the one where going to get but they gave us a better one and we are very happy... my girl wants a vehicle just like it
Worst experience with a car rental company that I've ever had. Reserved an Economy car for my wife and my newborn baby. Little did I know that they would try to throw her in a 2 door car, But not that's not it, the way they communicate with customers is completely unprofessional and demeaning. We also rented a baby car seat, which they gave her a broken one at first. After a lot of back and forth they finally gave her another car seat, which they just threw on the floor and told her to take it. They also gave her another car, but charged her for the upgrade. It would of been nice and courteous from the customer service rep to at least waive the upgrade fee. It's a mother with a newborn baby, I guess these people never heard of trying to do the right thing for the customer. If you offer any parent with a newborn baby an upgrade, of course they'll take it, for the safety of the baby. They knew my wife was desperate. Then to top it all of, they charged her for an extra 2 hours. The return time was supposed to be at 12PM, which is clearly displayed in the invoice. My wife returned it at 11:31AM, and they charged her for 2 extra hours. If you add the 2 hours charge, plus the upgrade charge, plus the almost 30% charge of taxes and fees, this came up to about $120 extra than what we expected to pay. Complete scam of a company. Just trying to make money and not care about the customers. Will never use this company again. And I'll make sure to write every single review possible for this place.
I am the director of a non-profit charity that serves impoverished Native Americans in New Mexico (Navajo) and Montana (Blackfeet) providing medical screenings, construction, food and firewood delivery. We bring teams of 50-80 people and Don from Advantage Rent a Car in Albuquerque New Mexico has been the most helpful person we have ever encountered. He went above and beyond to provide us vehicles to do our mission work which can be up to 8 vehicles., when other agencies (Alamo) did not.
we will never rent for them again. we rented a car for one price, then when we went to pick up the car they told us that it was an additional $40 a day for unlimited millage, otherwise you only received 20 miles per day allowance. This extra charge was not stated anywhere, When we argued the guy dropped it to $20 a day. Still ridiculous but whatever, we had already paid them the first fee. When we returned the car, nothing was notated so we were charged the $40 a day fee. They were completely rude and unprofessional. Never. Again.
Worst experience with the manager, Shawn Smith, in Las Vegas Mc.Carran car rental. I had 50k coverage for the minivan and his staff insisted me to cancel because too low for 40k van with 30k mile instead buy from them of course I refused and he became rude and confront me in the parking garage.
