Review is on customer service experience - not the quality of products. Purchased $1200 worth of furniture for a small business.
Initially sells and support seemed great. What I do like about ReSource is the ability to see provide them the dimensions of your office space and then to see an overhead layout of the furniture in the work area. This feature is very helpful when planning. Plus $50 for delivery and instillation seems like a good deal (yet to be experienced).
Is this the end of the world - No. Is this a 5-star experience - No. Is this a below average experience - Yes.
Update: After being delayed last week, called again a week later to confirm delivery. Office staff said yes - the next day passed w/o any delivery or call from them. 2nd time this happened?!?! Simply unprofessional on too many levels. Went in person the following day to speak to owner - was threatened to leave the facility or else he would call 911. Can we say overly dramatic? Yes. Was I the nicest guy? No. Eventually owner heard me out and I received a discount off price and guaranteed deliver that day. We shook hands and parted our ways...
I have purchased floor mats and chairs (used) from this business for many years. I have not had any problems with them. I walk in, choose a chair, pay for it and walk out. They'll load it for me if I ask them to. I always refer friends, family and business associates here. Often times the quality of an older used chair is much better than a brand new one. I have not used their office supply services or ordered furniture. I am a real customer and have not been paid or provided a discount or services to write this review.
Main complaint is lack of followup and lack of communication on behalf of ReSource. I had to follow-up several times to get information emailed to me. I called a day before my scheduled delivery to confirm since no one contacted me. The day of delivery, I received a phone call stating the furniture was back-ordered and I'm now pushed another week out. Yes...day of delivery I'm informed it's back-ordered. Really? Someone is dropping the ball.
For some businesses, my experience would be a logistical nightmare - moving out furniture/equipment the day before delivery, being told it's delayed, moving back in equipment/furniture to resume business - only to do it again a week later because someone in ReSource is not paying attention.
Now I'm looking at close to 4 weeks for delivery and instillation...sub-par if you ask me since you can order this furniture online with free delivery.
I went in to look for a desk chair with my son. It took a few minutes to greet us. Originally we were looking in the new furniture area and after saying what we were looking for we went to the used area. After 10 minutes my son went to tell the man that he found a chair and would like a price we were told he would be right there after another 5 minutes we decided to leave. As we were walking out he opened the door and said sorry I forgot about you. Really I will not be back and will be sure to spread the word of the horrible experience!!!! I Do not recommend this place
