When you consider the quality of the furniture sold here, it is more expensive than the particle-board furniture but the quality/durability is worth the price difference if you seek a sale price.
The Albuquerque location is hands down the absolute WORST Furniture Row that I have ever had to deal with in my 10+ years of being a Furniture Row customer. Every order I have received (approximately 6) has been either wrong or damaged and the customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. Brandon Sellers took over the store about a year ago and I don’t know how this joker could be in any management position. He has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. I see fast food in this this guys future, but I doubt he would be a good fit for much more than a entry level position. This store has blatantly stolen money from me by not honoring warranties and slipping in hidden charges for stuff at the end of the transaction. It’s more like a shady car dealership than a furniture store. Avoid this place if you don’t want any hassles. Im having to call the corporate office in Colorado AGAIN. Furniture Row is generally great...too bad the Albuquerque location has such poor management and employees.
• Reasonable (not low) prices especially on sale / clearance. Some very reasonable low price deals from time to time (sign up for their email newsletter).
• Management customer service attitude needs improvement.
• Furniture here is higher end, solid wood, not particle board.
What's bad:
Great product, poor organization. Ordered a table and chairs over two weeks ago and explained to salesman I needed it here before a certain date as I have people coming into town. The DAY BEFORE delivery, they say it's on back order and can only deliver half and have to wait another MONTH. So I say ok. 5 minutes later, they call back and say they actually can't delivery any of it for another extended period of time. I bought this table contingent on the delivery date. It's a good thing we like this table otherwise we would have gone to Ashley. Kind of slimy they wait until the day before to tell us. Looks like my guests and I will be dining on the floor. ..
What's good:
Our $2300 leather sectional sofa started fading less than 1 year after purchasing. It has now been 2 1/2 years and it continues to get worse. The store refuses to remedy, stating that our leather warranty has expired. Please don't waste your money here. Poor quality. Terrible service. We will take our business elsewhere moving forward.
• Wide selection of furniture.
In response to Jennifer: The store rep that you asked to follow up with me recommended that I pay for a leather repair technician to fix our sectional, stating that there is nothing the store can/will do to remedy our issue.
Very pleasant to shop in this store Sales personnel do not pest you and yet they are ready when you need them. Very elegant furniture
In the past I've purchased furniture at various places from American to to Goodwill and looked at a fair number of other places, so have some experience. In this case, I purchased a full bedroom furniture set and leather couch and had a good experience at Furniture Row. Dan Chavez was a good and reasonable sales rep -- go to him. I sensed some poor customer service attitude from the manager (-1 star) but didn't interact or put up much with him. Delivery crew was very good.
