Great selection of furniture and rugs! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, store policies on returns/exchanges very good as well. Happy to recommend visiting store to anyone in market for quality merchandise at affordable prices.
UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review the store manager called and resolved my concerns to my satisfaction. I upgraded my rating to 3 stars.
The salesmen are considerably nicer than other furniture stores, and they leave you alone if you let them know you are just browsing. The selection is large, and the quality tends to be better than other stores in the area. Prices appear to reflect the quality of the furniture. I recommend this place.
Tom Long is an excellent sales person here - he has helped us for many years. Also - check out this VERY cool chair and ottoman. AMAZINGLY comfortable. Go in just to sit in it- incredible.
What a fun place to visit! This store reminds me of a vintage Ikea circa 1980. It's pretty drab and has a "dusty without being dusty" kinda feel to it, but somehow that just works and makes this place an EXPERIENCE. There's selection of furniture items and some really great deals. We managed to snag a great deal on a new mattress, foundation, and bed frame - all for about $1,000.
Once again, very happy with the service we received from American Home. Had several items delivered we weren't satisfied with; were replaced with no hassles, done with a smile. American Home seems genuinely interested in making sure customers are completely satisfied with their shopping experience. Thanks!
I special ordered a recliner from the Menaul location in May. When it was finally delivered in August there were some issues with it. I called customer service and they tried to resolve my concerns but couldn't so they escalated it to the store manager. After a couple of weeks or so they called me back and asked if the manager had gotten back to me and I said no. So the customer service representative said she would email him again. That was around 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from him. So even though customer service was friendly and tried to resolve my concern I give 2 thumbs down to the store because the manager can't be bothered to get in touch with me. Even if they're not willing to do anything they should still let me know.
