If this is how you treat my sister, who has been a long time customer, when she needed a little help, well then I guess PVM doesn't really need my money either.
I too have been a long time customer, but not any more. I will be buying my dog food for my two GSD's somewhere else.
They are so knowledgeable and helped us find the right food and supplement balance to help our chcoolate lab who had severe allergies! Also they can order kurgo and riffwear items if not in-store!
I had THE BEST experience visiting Pet Vet Market! I had done lots of research on finding the best dog food for my pup, and initially went to two other pet stores that sold the brand I was looking for. These two stores were unhelpful, had the worst customer service and I walked right out of both and into Pet Vet. The employee at Pet Vet Market answered any and all questions I had, and also provided my pup and I with 9 sample bags of the brand I decided on! I will definitely be going back for the dog wash and any other needs that we may have. Thank you Pet Vet Market!!!
"Ajax the very famous book store GSD is undergoing a surgical procedure tomorrow and we wanted to get him a bath before. We went to our regular dog wash place and we were twenty minutes too late. They close at 5 but the last wash is 4 and we were there at 4:20. We explained to the nice young man behind the counter and he said if was up to him he would do it but he has to ask the manager. We again explained to the manager Aja, the surgery, the drive, the long time customer deal. And she said no. I said really and explained again and said we would be out of there before five. She said she would compromise and let us bathe him, but not dry him. Same price. We said ok and then we proceeded to get him up on the table to brush him and she said no way no brushing. So we were skunked and as we were leaving she pipes up with an awfully rude "Have wonderful day" as we were leaving. She said it with such an ugly smirking tone so I halted my exit and said that was uncalled for and she should tame her tongue. She says "oh I really mean it I want to you have a wonderful day." I said you know my predicament and it's not likely I'm going to have a wonderful day now and you are being awful here. And she says as her final quip "your poor planning does not make it an emergency for me."
Always loved this Pet Vet. It has a family-like atmosphere and the staff is as friendly, knowledgeable and caring as can be. The prices are a little steep in that they stock only the best pet foods available. I only wish there was a bit more variety. They also offer other services, such as dog washing, nail clipping and, of course, low cost shots twice a month. Oh,k and your pet is always welcome to go in and look around with you!
Well here is my response to Aja, "It isn't an emergency if it is 40 minutes before you close." Showing a little compassion and kindness goes a long ways to earning my business.
Great little pet supply store with excellent food choices amd supplies. They host shot clinics also about 1x per month.
The manager/employee Aja at the Juan Tabo store doesn't actually understand customer service. My sister came in 40 minutes before closing on Sunday, PVM closes at 5pm, and well, let me let her tell the rest of the story.
