The pictures of this place look great, but very deceptive. It must be under new owners because the current state of this store is total garbage. I have never felt bad for a fish before, but this store is so gross that I was overcome with total guilt for every animal here. The store is dimly lit, with standing water on the floor, the place stinks, there’s no comfortable way to walk around, and all of the tanks looked dirty. Canaries were kept in overhead cages with no socialization. And for some terrible odd reason they have bunnies, a duck, and tortoises in the same enclosure. The tortoises are of course trampled on by the duck and rabbits who just treat them like rocks. This store should literally be investigated because it’s so unsuitable.
Robert was fantastic, he took the time to show us around the store and educate us on the different types of animals we were considering. He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the animals. He was patient and kind with all of our questions. There was a great selection of animals that all appeared to be content and well-cared-for.
This store is pathetic. It is super dirty the animal enclosures are horribly maintained. The fish all have illnesses. It stinks in the store. I would never buy an animal from them this place it's just pathetic. The owner definitely cannot look himself/herself in the mirror. Just awful.
He is very knowledgeable and will assist you in choosing the perfect pet.

One of the best exotic stores in Albuquerque very knowledgeable people. All those bad reviews are lies this is one of the best stores to go to. I have two bearded dragons and I've gone into the store and talked to them and asked them a ton of questions. They were able to answer very confidently and accurately . So I would trust this store and everything they tell you. Great store. Have I said it's good yet? No? Well it's great. Also new management always on top of everything.
I would not shop anywhere else!
