The shrink here made it very clear, that treating chest pain is very different from treating a panic attack or anxiety. If you were abused at a young age, would you be who you are? I say no. Mabey a better person or worse it depends who you are. I gave them one star but i know they should get five. Im just in pain.

They just keep you on meda and you sleep til a visitor comes and til you get to eat and the food makes you constipated so you have to ask for cola when and they won't give it to you but they'll give you 10 mg of lorazepam and 100 mg of trazadone and then you sleep some more. It's so boring in this place and it feels like if your not already crazy your gonna go bonkers . The drs inpatient will believe you when you tell them you don't wanna hurt yourself or don't want to die even if you do deep down, and as long as you say you don't have a plan then your okay to get out soon. The showers are cold here, and you get roommates who always want to be awake while you sleep and sleep while your awake . You can't do your makeup unless a nurse or orderly watches you do it so do t even bother to do it and the shampoo body was stiff they give you drugs out your skin, and the lotion smells weird .

Some of the nurses on the west unit were a little rigid with enforcing all of the rules and visitation times. Most of the staff that I met was polite and courteous. The facility is somewhat dated and had a "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" feel to it. I suppose the extra security precautions and locked down amenities are needed. The patients were mingling with one another co-ed style, which made me concerned about my girlfriend's safety. I also noticed a lack of male nurses or security personnel. I don't mean to sound sexist, but there were a few really stout male patients that could have easily overpowered the all female nursing staff. I am grateful for the job that nurses do, there is no way I could have the patience or empathy that they give on a daily basis. Anyways, I gave 4/5 stars; It's alright for a mental health unit, just not somewhere you want your loved ones or yourself to be any longer than necessary.

Sometimes if there's too many people in rooms you'll have to sleep out in the foyer by the nurses station, and your not allowed to have a pencil or pen unless it's rubber .

Last time the girl that stayed in my room put on all my clothes and said they were here's and no one believed that they were mine until my mom told them that they were .

This is mixed feeling it's good and bad so I guess it just depends

It's not fun to be here or relaxing and all there is to do all day is walk ina circle or watch stupid tv. I hate being here because it's so tedious and boring and when you try to be honest with people they kind of brush you off unless it's Hannah who actually listens to how you feel.

Sometimes in the summer they will have a BBQ outside with hamburgers and soda. Usually you get stuck eating graham crackers and Gatorade that isn't really sweet all day.

The clinics are weird I used to see dr Lin,then she left me and I had to see dr Cruz who was really awesome but thought I needed to see another dr but now I see dr narrow and he's pretty okay too but not as easy to talk to as dr Cruz or dr Lin . Sometimes they tell you they can't read you because your face has no expression and they don't r ally tell you your full diagnosis unless your someone's mom or something . The receptionists at the cope clinic were nice but they got new ones who don't really treat you the same as the old ones but they always have snacks so that's good in the morning when you go to see your dr. The I ope clinic is good too. But if you have a problem with your script , forget reaching after hours of trying to fix it the same day you'll just have to wait til your next appointment. Also it sucks that you have to pay a copay for dbt counseling after you've been referred specially when you really need it and the dr keeps asking you if you've gone yet and you haven't cos your broke:/

There's only 2 nurses here that I want to talk to . One of them is Hannah she has a really cool accent and is super nice.

I stayed here a couple of days cause of problems and was made fun for been dumb and it did not help as I was there for depression try the west wing good luck
