This is the best bike shop in town. They have been in business for decades, and they know the business, and treat customers with great care and friendly service. I have been amazed at their knowledge and patience, and I never feel pressured to buy any product or service. All of my repairs have done within 2-3 days, with excellent results.
Visited several bike stores in the local area and the customer service at Cycle Cave far exceeded that of the others. Don't get me wrong, the other guys were nice but the genuine honesty and care that Bob and his father both shared during my visits left a good feeling. I hadn't made up my mind on brand, 29 vs 27.5, hardtail vs FS and Bob took the time (even kept the store open an extra hour both visits) to make sure I got what I wanted without an ounce of pressure to spend extra money. Cycle Cave has a bunch of Scott and Diamondback options with a few other brands sprinkled in there. I ended up with a 2016 Scott Spark FS (again - they didn't push the expensive 2017 model) with the necessary accessories (thicker tubes, helmet, gloves, pump, etc) at a very reasonable price. Both visits I encountered other customers in the parking lot coming/going who couldn't speak good enough things about Cycle Cave, their fair prices, and outstanding customer service.
I been looking for a bike for sometime.I looked online and local stores, but something did not feel just right. Yesterday I walked into Cycle Cave, in a second I knew I was going to get a bike from them. Harvey the has been in business for over 30 years. He greeted me very nicely. I was very specific on the type I wanted. Listed carefully and showed me a few bikes that fit the profile. Finally I choose one and they took care of all the details. Plus he gave an unexpected discount. Today I look the bike online. I definitely got a great deal and great costumer service. I get free tunes up for the first year. Not bad. Thank you Harvey.
Bought at least seven bikes here for myself, wife, and three boys, every time a pleasant experience. I've been a steady customer since '84, I have found several items here over the years cheaper than I could find in magazines, mail order, and now the internet. Reading all the reviews, the few bad reviews are outliners (I can understand not wanting to let someone test ride a bike with no collateral), and I don't understand Jackie O's star score as her write up give them a glowing review. I agree Harvey and Bob know how to run a business as far as treating customers the right way.
After finding this place I don't think I would go to another bike store. Great prices, great service department.
