Quick to take your money but then you can forget about getting any service. Dan, Diane and the switchboard would not answer on the day of the truck loading. The corporate office in Ohio could not even get them to answer their phone.
We moved with Albuquerque Moving and Storage through Allied Van Lines. Dan Gillette could not have been nicer to us and more honest in answering my questions. (We have about 7 movers come to review our needs for this move so Allied was not the first mover we dealt with). The driver called the day before to confirm and was timely and courteous during loading and unloading our belongings in Missouri. The packers were courteous and responded to our questions and requests in a professional manner and packed what we requested. The turn-around time from pick up on Friday in Albuquerque NM and unload on the following Monday in Missouri was delightful. We were very pleased with Allied Van Lines and Albuquerque Moving and Storage.
They sent an undersized truck so 2,000 lbs was left behind. Loading crew argued with the Driver the whole time. Jessie in Ops wanted to blame the driver. Diane gives out bad info about how to process for credit back due to undersized load. Lots of damaged items at destination, STAY AWAY from this company
Packers and movers arrived on time. We all missed a lamp base that I was able to add to storage the next day. We haven't seen the move-in yet but so far we are happy.

Service could not have been better! Used ABQ Moving & Storage/Allied Van Lives to move my brother's furniture from New Mexico to New Jersey. He's going into independent living apartment and would not be able to help with the unboxing of anything. The two drivers (a husband and wife team - Asmeed and Natasha) couldn't have been more helpful. They opened and placed everything right where it needed to go - even were nice about helping us rearrange things to fit better in this smaller space. Every item came through without a scratch - even delicate items like a large waterfall glass lampshade and a 10 foot tall cactus skeleton. The moving was something we'd dreaded but they made it a delightful experience!
This is intended to be a "zero star" review, as I would urge potential customers to consider very carefully before doing any work with this company, and suggest they consider another more reputable company, even at a higher price. Our floor and home were damaged directly due to a dishwasher installation error by ABQ Moving and Storage in January 2017. The damage occurred the first time we ran the dishwasher after installation. We can understand that accidents happen, but this company is unwilling to take any accountability for their mistakes, even after it has been clearly shown by all parties and experts to be an installation mistake. They have also not even offered to refund our installation fee, even after their installation caused damage to our home. After investigation by a qualified service technician, it was established that the damage was clearly caused by an installation error on the part of ABQ Moving and Storage. When this was presented to ABQ M&S, they did everything possible to avoid responsibility for the damage they caused to our home. You may get lucky and not have any issues arise with this company, but please be certain that if they make any mistake whatsoever, especially if it causes damage, they will do everything possible to avoid taking responsibility or accountability for their mistakes, and will even keep any money you have paid to them for, even accidentally, causing damage to your home. I would suggest working with a company responsible enough to take accountability for mistakes, and not one that will take your money for a subpar job that ends up costing you more time and money in the long run.
