I've been a patient at Rio Grande Family Medicine since 2003, when I was a child. In my adult life, I've been having worse and worse experiences here with getting appointments of any kind. I've been told that I've never been here before and they don't take new patients--only my firm insistance that I'd been there just a year prior got the receptionist to actually find me in the system. I've been "transferred" more times than I can count to a dead-end line while trying to ask a simple question. Appointments are almost never available in a timely fashion, and most recently I had my appointment rescheduled because I was 'late' due to waiting for access to the receptionist while she dealt with another patient for ten minutes. That appointment was critical to closing an insurance case from me being hit by a car. I'm going to try to find another family doctor with a better receptionist focused on patient understanding and wellbeing.
PA Mr. Muhammad was very friendly and personable. He was very thorough on his check up. I feel very comfortable with him as my new primary. This visit was a very positive experience.
I love my 'Dr.'!! Candice P. Is a CNP, and she is the most amazing person! I couldn't imagine going any where else. Short wait times, and always friendly staff. Thank you!
I have tried to get a hold of someone in the billing department here since November 2016 about a billing issue. It goes to voicemail and they haven't returned my call. I have tried 3 times.
I hardly had any wait time. I was seen when scheduled with friendly and prompt service. This was my very first visit to establish a new Primary Physician.
I also signed up for their allergy clinic, which apparently shut down, but I was not informed.
If I could I would give it zero stars the staff And nurse where nice But I Went to Establish primary care Dr with Dr Khalsa And I immediately was patient profiled I only answered questions of any problems I may be having and she kept telling me if I want a prescription or a diagnosis what do I want I said just to have a primary care and she just kept looking at me and laughing very Rude and unprofessional then she walked out after I told her she's making me uncomfortable I just wanted a primary care I could hear her talking about me. weird and awkward to say the least lol
Everyone that I do talk to here is really nice though when I do get a hold of someone! Which makes it hard for me to write this! I just feel like, it is their job to follow up with patients, and in my personal experience they have not!
