Hard to find doctors as good as him now a day's.
He is a very sweet and caring doctor. That's really hard to find in today's stressed healthcare system and personnel. I have been treated badly and recieved inadequate care by a few docs at Presbyterian (an ER doc, my Primary, and one at an urgent care), and I think it's because they now hate their jobs and are stuck in something they hadn't fully bargained for. Anyway, leaving Pres and going to an outside doc was the only choice I had because Pres doesn't have any more docs taking new patients and are even having to bring in temporary, sub-contracted docs from other states to fill their shortage. It has been a good thing switching over to Dr Kulkarni because I know he truly cares about me and will listen to me and take my concerns seriously. Nothing worse than a doc who treats you like a number, and Dr. Kulkarni will never do that to you.

Truly great doctors are not defined by when they treat, but by when they know not to treat. For years I had been experiencing abdominal pain. I reorganized my life, divested myself of unnecessary responsibilities, and never had a problem again, except for the rare circumstance when highly stressful situations imposed themselves on my life. Kulkarni changed my life from one of constant pain to one of low stress and happiness and didn't prescribe me a single drug or treatment.
