I am 65 years old and have seen a good number of medical personnel and have been in a number of medical facilities. NEVER in my life have I been in a place nearly as bad as this. I wouldn't return to this clinic if I were dying.
Dr. Junick is wonderful! He did my bilateral knee replacement seven years ago and it turned out great. He also gives me cortisone shots in my hips every three months.
I can't go into everything -- I have a broken shoulder and can type with only one hand -- but suffice to say that I am filing a formal complaint with Lovelace, SS Admin, and New Mexico Board of Health.
My experience with this man was most distasteful. He shuffles you off, like so many cattle through a shoot, to his dismissive PA who just repeats himself when asked questions and threatens you with poor care if you have concerns and take exception to his one size fits all protocols. My hip replacement was poorly done and is still painful after 18 months.I ended up in the ER after six weeks in severe pain and ligaments popping out of place. His response was that it happened sooner than he expected. What? He knew he had messed it up. And that leg is now an inch longer than the other. When questioned about my concerns, he becomes defensive and in your face arrogant. He didn't care about my suffering, only his ego. I would never recommend him. In my view, he is not to be trusted.
