At check-in the front desk person Tanell was very polite, warm and informative. The check-out lady (?) was rude and too busy eating & drinking coffee at the front desk to be polite let alone hospitable to guests. She even left the front desk at the checkout hour to relieve herself as guest waited over 5 mins.
This is remodeled facility with nice suites. It is in an industrial part of town with only one restaurant within short walking distance. Good rooms with comfortable rooms.

I had never been to Albuquerque before and driving in at 11pm didn't exactly give us a warm and fuzzy feeling. But La Quinta was a very pleasant surprise. We were greeted in the nuce, warm lobby by a friendly employee who checked us in quickly. The room was spacious and clean. A few more extra blankets and pillows would be been nicer, but we made due. I wouldn't recommend the sofa sleeper for an adult, but worked for our 6 yr old. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Overall a very nice stay.
One of the best hotels I've been at. Especially for the price. Everything seemed well kept and new. Service was great. Breakfast was awesome! I'd love to stay there again
The hotel was clean and VERY dog friendly. They have a great fenced in area for the dogs to run. However, the breakfast staff was disgusting! The lady sneezed in her hand then proceeded to handle the bagels with her bare sneeze hand. No gloves or hand washing. The breakfast area was also empty by 8:30am when it ends at 9am. The ice machine was also broken which was a bummer and one of the lights in my room didn't work. My first room smelt like intense cigarette smoke but the front desk was kind and accommodated my request for another room. The area isn't the best, but the Village Inn restaurant in the lot has excellent pie.
The breakfast wasn't good and the pool area was less than desirable with cracked cement.
