Newly renovated, only reopened two months. Rooms are clean, water piping hot. Internet in room 225 was very good. Owner and staff are super-friendly, eager to please and take pride in the motel. Great location, plenty of parking. The luggage carts are new with great wheels. Very quiet, even with creaky floors. The guest room windows have a screen over them, letting you look out but preventing others from looking in; from the inside, you don’t even know the screen is there. The doors to the rooms and stairways are well balanced and open very easily.
I can not say enough great things about the Comfort Inn & Suites in Albuquerque, NM. The amazing staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Just off to the left of the lobby is their beautiful common area. Past that is their dining area were they offer an excellent complimentary breakfast.
It's true, it's an industrial area, but it's quiet, super clean and has been totally refurbished from floor to ceiling. Feels new. Rooms are on the large side. Excellent beds and bedding. You do get the great sleep that Comfort Inn promises.
I have been traveling for the last 4.5 years and I rarely leave reviews. but in this case, i am leaving one because of the OUTSTANDING service and the facility of my 12 night stay for the balloon fest. the staff was super helpful and courteous. the hotel when a 100% refurbished so everything is new and clean. would recommend this stay to anyone.
Overall 4/5. Internet 5/5. Value 4.5/5. I recommend the place and I would stay here again.
Cons: No microwave or refrigerator. Breakfast was adequate. Motel is in an industrial area; perfectly safe, but off-putting to some.
The designer/architect made many miscues. The room should be big enough but is a few inches too narrow; with queen beds it feels slightly cramped. Related to that, there is no desk chair because it would have been too tight. Bathroom has little counter space and no towel racks, and no place even to put towel racks. The way the bathroom electrical plug was placed, the nightlight covers both plugs. The blinds don’t overlap when they close, letting light in. The hot water has to run awhile before it gets hot, probably due to no circulation pump in the four-story building.
Building layout is not a straight corridor and takes several pass-throughs to figure out.
Incredible staff. Sahill was on duty and he took amazing care of us. We will definitely stay here every time we are in Albuquerque.
Creaky floors will be nothing new to anyone who’s lived in a condo or apartment.
None of the design flaws are fatal - there are just a lot of them.
The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on!! Super clean!! Great cheesy omelette for breakfast.. more options but I’m on a diet so that’s all I got.. All around I’d rate this 5 stars without a doubt great staff and very friendly.. I’ll be visiting here again on my next trip cross country!! Thank you guys for a great experience!!
The front canopy is poorly designed and you cannot drive under it or unload under it. The concrete slab in front of the front door has a tilt so those new luggage carts don’t stay stationary. Also, the luggage carts are triangular and smaller.
Great for short stays
The rooms are very clean and very spacious. The bed was as comfortable and any hotel I've ever been in. The bathroom was clean and provided everything you would need as a weary traveler. There was also an outside pool I wish I had time to enjoy. I guess that is my excuse to stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in downtown Albuquerque again.
