Nice mid-level hotel. King suite was well appointed and large. Bathroom is on the small side. Controls for AC in my room were not working properly; turning the AC so the fan stays on all the time (which I prefer for sleeping), also turned the AC on constantly which made the room get WAY too cold. Hot breakfast was decent, but I've had better at other Holiday Inns. My company puts us in this hotel, if I was spending my own money I would probably opt for somewhere else like Drury.
Nice staff.. quiet area
The hotel is easily accessible from I-25. The rooms were clean and the day staff was friendly. The breakfast staff was also helpful and kept the area clean and the food plentiful. I would avoid rooms on the upper floors ending in 10. They are hidden beside the elevator. We found them difficult to find and a little more noisy than the other rooms.
Awesome staff and welcoming lobby. Rooms are somewhat outdated, but are maintained clean. If possible avoid rooms closer to the road; lot of noise overnight. Gas station is right next to the hotel and that's convenient when you want to get on I-25 which is really close as well. If there is a ORDER IN menu for room service, please don't use them. Terrible service, they are not affiliated with the Hotel.
Overall experience at this particular holiday inn was good. First impression when I pulled up was..... "Is this place open" no cars in the parking lot except in the very front and even then, was only about 4 cars. Walk into the lobby and it seemed un-welcoming due to the limited lights and empty area. But as I was checked in the host/desk attendent was low toned and very soft spoken. Like something out of a horror show. Honestly felt like a ghost town in the hotel but over all sleep quality was ok. I'd say find a hotel closer to the city.
