Clean and great service. Pricey for what you get. Avoid south side of building, parking lot lights shine into rooms at night.

You usually know what you're getting when you book chain hotels. There's the crummy ones, the mid-range ones, the fancy ones. Once in awhile you TOTALLLY LUCK OUT with a GEM of a hotel that knocks your socks off. THIS IS IT. Totally unassuming, affordable, and off the highway, this Hampton Inn will make you believe in Hampton Inns for the rest of your life.... CLEANEST room I've ever been in, NICEST staff I've ever encountered (dear management, MARCO is the BOMB and does YOUR company the BEST service imaginable!!!) Plus, it's an easy, central location to downtown ABQ and all it's fun stuff. AWESOME. 100% AWESOME. Marco. Awesome.
Service was great, rooms were clean and they have breakfast for you in the morning. That's a great perk!!! There is a brewery across the street from the Hotel to check out
I personally had a good experience. The hotel is a bit dated but the room had nice beds, good AC, a handy desk, good shower, medium fridge, and microwave. Breakfast was standard but good. They really seemed to put the little bit of extra care into everything. Now the caveat: day staff was great, night staff was mediocre to terrible. Evening/night staff was really slow checking is in, screwed up reservations (cancelled my room keys a day early), and there was some other weird screw ups on their part. My colleague was victim to more of the incompetency, so he'd probably give 2-3 out of 5 but I really had no bad experiences myself.
