Very nice place to stay when passing through! The floors are wood. Excellent location next to the airport. This is the perfect place to have a team stay when you have to play in a tournament in Albuquerque.
First rate experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Tim, the amazing maintenance engineer, will be there to help you in case your room doesn't meet your expectations. All in all, a good experience and a fine welcoming to my new home in Albuquerque. Albuquerque truly is a friendly town. :)
When we showed up here, the place was slammed - there must have been a dozen people trying to check in all at once. The woman behind the desk took it in stride and treated everyone as if they actually mattered and she was happy to see them. I was 4 people back, and was still checked in within 10 minutes. We were expecting all night noise, but the room was really quite. Air-conditioning was delicious. Room was spotless. Beds were comfy. Only thing lacking was the "Continental Breakfast" which appeared to be trail bars, coffee, and prepackaged pastries. But for the price, we really had no complaints.
Stay overall was fine. Staff was helpful and bed was comfortable. Room was pretty clean, but the door and inside the shower could have been cleaned better. No ice machine at this hotel, my freezer had broken ice cube trays. There is a breakfast, but it's only coffee, muffins, and granola bars; I expected something a little better since free breakfast is advertised. I was just passing through, so it is good if you need a no frills place to stay.
Motel 6 is a better option than this Extended Stay facility. Contrary to the photos on their website, the place is not depicted accurately. Small, noisy, lacking any soundproofing, and a serious disappointment in every way possible. In 70 years, I've never stayed at a more discusting place. This place was not upgraded as their site says. There are so many cigarette burns on the 'new' carpet that I lost count. And the place is touted as a No Smoking facility. I'll never return and recommend you seriously research this place before you book your reservation. The only redeeming feature was the friendly staff.
