This company was fine at first. However, over the years rates would increase, which you expect from time to time. After several years I placed a phone call to find out if a better rate could be found. They assured me this was the lowest possible rate in town. So I went online and did some research and in under 10 minutes found a comparable policy over $100 dollars cheaper. When I called back and notified them I was canceling due to this fact, they told me to wait a few minutes and they would call back. Upon return phone call they stated "we were able to find a policy for that price". Regardless of the offer for price match the fact is that I pay them to find the lowest rate. Instead I did the foot work after they assured me rates were lowest, found a lower rate and did their job for them. If I stayed that would be accepting that I should pay for subpar work, or in this case no work on their behalf. I was very disappointed. Additionally when canceling; they became quite hostile when I was trying to obtain a refund and stated "we don't refund amounts that small". I hate to be petty but keeping an amount of money no matter how small, if it does not belong to you is by definition stealing. It took a few hours and moving to the out of state corporate chain to obtain my refund. I will add the corporate people I spoke with were pleasant and professional. This company will give you solid coverage but will not do their job to find you lowest rates, BUYER BEWARE.
