I ended up taking my son to the barber shop across from Larry's in the mall. He probably got a better haircut anyway.
We went into the mall on a Saturday, the mall closes at 9pm. My wife and son needed haircuts. They went up to the counter at Larry's around 6:30 pm. They were told that they weren't curing hair because all of the stylists had gone home. What!? How do you run a salon in a busy mall on a weekend without stylists? I will be calling mall management & the Larry's management because this is stupid. I will not be going back to Larry's for anything. The girl at the counter was not very helpful. She was to busy talking to her friends at the counter.
I haven’t been here for over 4 years because the last stylist I had gave me a lot of attitude. I decided to give them another chance. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. When the girl finally showed up she was on her phone and didn’t greet me until she finished on her phone. I told her I just needed a haircut and she said her last stylist was going home for the night. I asked what time they close and she said the mall closes at 9:00. I looked at the clock and it was 7:02. I said,”She’s going home 2 hours early?” I looked at the stylist and she said “Yeah” with a very unfriendly tone and then turned her back to me. I told the girl behind the desk I would not be coming back because of all the attitude I had received.
This is a pricey place but I am always treated well and leave with a nice haircut.
Okay so I'm very protective of my hair and did not trust anyone to cut my hair since I have very thick hair and other stylist always end up making my hair in to thick choppy cuts. So I decided to give this place a try. First try: A stylist there did my hair amazing and gave me exactly what I asked for! She knew what she was doing. Second try: I went recently and was paired with a different stylist. My hair was past my hips and I asked for the same thing as last time. I end up getting my hair pulled and pulled so hard my head began hurting. Then it seemed the stylist was angry. I ended up with short (almost shoulder length), choppy and very clumpy bundles of hair. Now my long hair is just so noticeably cut "cheap". Wouldn't go there after that treatment AND price!!
Walked up to the front desk at 4:53 pm the mall closes at 6:00 pm for new year's eve. All I wanted was a simple buzz cut, I asked if there was on opening and she was extremely rude and told me no! I asked again if they could do a real quick buzz cut and still got denied. One word to describe this place TERRIBLE.
