The office faculty and the professors here have been very helpful and respectful here during my time, and have always guided me whenever I needed the help. The school is fairly small so it really allows you to really get to know your professors and other classmates very well, and as such builds a stronger sense of teamwork. The resources that the school provides are also very useful and convenient, especially for a beginning artist.

The Southwest University of Visual Arts has provided both my husband and I with a higher level of arts education that we have carried with us through our careers. The faculty and teachers are top notch and always available to help. If you are interested in becoming an artist, designer or illustrator this university will guide you to bring a creative professional.

S.U.V.A offers a higher understanding of art with their multiple degree paths to choose from. The instructors here are all very knowledgeable in their respective fields and they push you to become the best artist that you could possibly be. The instructors here do not only teach you how to design, build, and write but, they also teach you the necessary skill sets that transfer into the work field. I know from networking among other artists at different institutions that S.U.V.A. offers a one of a kind curriculum that isn't offered elsewhere. Before deciding to come here I researched many different programs at many different universities and I can confidently say that I chose right by choosing S.U.V.A. The Southwest University of Visual Arts is truly a one of a kind school.

I would highly recommend this school if you are looking to pursue a career in the art industry.

Amazing school!! Class sizes are small so you get a lot of one on one with teachers. All the classes are designed with art in mind, so you are constantly surrounded by art and making it too. The teachers make the classes fun while also getting you to think critically and "outside the box". They encourage you to think of unusual or different ways to approach and solve problems. If you're looking for a school that's unique and does things differently, this is the school for you.

If you're looking for a school that understands your needs as a growing artist, then you've found the right school. SUVA's strengths lie in its concept-based curriculum; not only do courses teach you the technical skills needed in your major, they also teach you how to think conceptually about your art. Not only that, but all of the professors know exactly what they're teaching and they're not afraid to give you one-on-one attention when you need it most. The community is great and the education is well worth it. You won't find a school that's just as interested in your work as you are anywhere else.
