I went yesterday to the Oriental Health Spa, expecting the same quality massage I'd had before, but left feeling like I not only still needed a massage, but also like I needed a chiropractor and a box of bandaids and medicated ointment. I'll add that having family members in this field of work, I am very forgiving of "a bad day", but this was something way worse. I also have a high pain tolerance.

This place was terrible! Don't waste your money. I asked for the half hour foot massage and they gave me the full hour and then tried to force me to tip more than I wanted to! Worst massage experience ever! I will not be returning.

She also did not use the hot stones with any gentleness or technique. She slammed them into my vertebrae and shoulder blades like a prehistoric stone hand ax. I am in severe pain today, as though I've been run over by a large vehicle. She seemed to enjoy my pain, and would only back off for a minute or two when I expressed my discomfort before returning to her tortuous agenda.

No surprise, I won't be returning for more disgusting sadism here. Clearly this biz is on the downslope if they have to employ therapists of this poor quality. Licensed therapists are worth the extra $20 I assure you.

To top off the horrible massage, she farted in the small massage room. No, not a silent but deadly, but an audible and deadly. She abrubtly left the small room, no doubt to spare herself the disgusting cloud of methane and pork gas, but I was left captive face down on the massage table to breathe in her toxic waste. I really wanted to get up and leave, but I have never had to leave a massage session before in my life, so I think I was too much in shock to act. Wish I would have.

This therapist (western name "Lisa") was just terrible. She had no technique at all, just randomly rubbed my shoulders and back with no plan whatsoever. She also had long nails (ever a good idea for a massage therapist???) and gouged her thumb nails into my skin, leaving deep welts and scratches on my back skin. At one point I said "ouch!" and she laughed, and said I must want more pressure. ???? I said no, please watch your nails, so she proceeded to gouge them in some more and with more pressure.

The first two times I went here awhile ago, I had excellent massage therapists. They used REAL massage technique and I left feeling great. My mother and sister are both licensed massage therapists in California, and I always wondered why the profession required licensing and liability insurance and/or bonding. It's not invasive, so how bad could a massage be? Now I know why licensing and liabilitry are required of massage therapists in the U.S..

Wish I could afford to go here everyday. It is affordable enough I can go at least once a week.

Absolutely amazing and relaxing. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. I recommend this place to everyone. Very pleased and finally relaxed!

My boyfriend and I have been a customers of the business for 4 years now and will continue to return. From facials to massage and from when they used to do nails and we absolutely love this place. Candy and the staff are always professional and we stand by the clean environment and professional staff. We receive treatments 2-4 times per week and will continue!
