Called prior to check availability left a message with no return call. The message stated 35$ a night for rv,s. When we arrive I was charged 50$ and I reminded them of the message and their reply was the balloon feast is in town, I replied that is price gouging and is against the law. We paid none the less. There are some nice amenities like the lake and play ground. BUT NOTHING COULD MAKE UP FOR THE TRAIN STATION SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE RV PARK. TRAIN HORNS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.
This place is just about as nice as something like this can be in this rather dry location. Just went in as a visitor, but people fishing were catching fish left and right. You do have to pay to get in, 2$ per person just as a visitor, maybe more for fishing. Closes before sunset. They've planted a lot of trees so it's only going to get shadier and nicer as the years go by. They are taking good care of the landscaping.
RV park has the most rude and unfriendly people on golf carts running around giving stink eyes. He came rudely reminding us it was check out and to get lost. We were all hooked ready to leave and did not need reminding. Every time I come here the same guy. Then he yelled at my wife that she needs to pay 30 dollars for her car when she had a room at the Casino.... Really! Real Assholes! This is the last time.
Terrible storm, couldn't find our space, muddy, and they jacked up the price of our space on the 2nd day without telling us. We left.
Great place on the way from where to there. They have a shuttle to get you from the RV park to the casino and back. Also great shower facilities
