Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. There have been at least 3 complete staff turnovers and each set gets worse and worse.
New review pending conflict resolution.
When is Mirabella Heights going to do something about the crime problem?
Pretty nice no complaints except for parking. Y'all should have like something where guests have to pay for parking after like a certain time or something. Pay for like a sticker or windshield thing idk.
Good luck. It worked at first. Convenient to Kirtland AFB, and across the street from Costco! However, if you like nighttime noise, this place will work fantastically for you. Has its own washer/dryer in the unit. Walls are paper-thin--you can hear everything--to include the "nocturnal activities" from your neighbors, while vehicles drag racing up/down Stephen Moody St or doing donuts in Manzano Mesa Park's lot will punctuate your stay. "On-site Security" only actually 'patrols' every other week, and is there more for parking enforcement. After 17 months, I got a notice to remove my unused grill from the deck despite over half of the complex having a grill on theirs (despite an ABQ Fire Marshall's warning Oct '14). I spent 50-75% of my time on the road which made it convenient, but had to move for a military PCS. Only received 1/7th of my security deposit back with no explanation on the difference (which is required as part of their terms of the lease). At best:"not again."
My husband and I have been here for two years now, and I strongly do not recommend it. On numerous occasions I have come across used needles laying on the ground, and this is a regular occurrence. If you are unsure if you are staying or leaving they jack up your rent which won't go back down if you resign a long term contract, taking advantage of families. If you switch apartments they will charge you on anything possible. The pool is NOT heated, and even with warm outside temperatures kids don't even want to swim in the pool it's so cold and they refuse to change it unless renters pay more. This apartment complex only cares about money and not what tenants want. There's also never any parking near your apartment causing you to park further away and if you have to carry things in while carrying a child, it becomes very difficult. The only good thing about this complex is that it is close to a park.
Last month, THEY deposited my check late and charged me the late fee for it. Inexplicably and without notice, they put pool locks on all of the mail areas and refuse to give enough keys so that the registered residents can get into the mail area.
1 car stolen today
If you move in here, you will be nickel and dimed for every single thing. You want to pay rent? Fee. You want to pay rent with a check to avoid the fee? Late fee because they processed every check 5 days after rent was due. You want a pool key so you can get your mail? $75 fee (and they don't even have any on hand).
5 reported vehicle break-ins in the past week
Do not be fooled by five-star posts. I suspect their own website is populated with reviews from their management.
This neighborhood is UNSAFE. Gunshots go off on a nightly basis in the nearby area. Apartment complex pays for "security" that doesn't even patrol. I just don't understand how my rent could be raised by $100/month over the past 2 years and the security has become worse.
