Good acustics. Friendly staff. Prices are a little steep. Parking leaves a bit to be desired. Overall would definitely recommend.
It's a great facility with clean seating and helpful staff. They even designed a parking system that makes it easy to get in and out of the property (park & ride). It was free when we did it.
One star because they don't have security yet they don't allow me to practice my Second Amendment right.
Beautiful venue that makes even the poor feel high class. It is a joy to watch a show or even perform at.
This is certainly the place to see major acts and Broadway shows in New Mexico. However, we deserve better. It's got terrible parking, it's overpriced and tacky located on the university (which is in a very ghetto area with lots of crime). The bathrooms are scattered all over the university building with graffiti and inappropriate words. It'd be really nice if there was a theatre in town that you could go to a nice dinner nearby before, then park comfortably at a classy nice place of its own.
Amazing concert by Bernadette Peters. $20.00 for upper balcony seat for this Broadway icon. A great lifetime experience! Acoustically, line-of-view, and decoratively great, spotlessly clean concert hall. Easy access from free handicapped parking structure. Elevator to lower bathroom floor and to lower balcony, but quite a few stairs to upper balcony seats. Never disappoints!
They do not honor our Second Amendment rights.
They instituted rules that prevent interruptions during a performance which I love. If you pay a lot of money for a performance, it sucks getting distracted by late comers. Popejoy hall appropriately keeps the late comers out. Yay!
