This place used to be really awesome. I've shopped here occasionally for over a decade, but lately customer service, response time, and availability has gone downhill. They're not even open on Saturday mornings any more.
I love getting steel from these guys but unfortunately I have a problem with the customer service. I went in requested a piece of tubing that needed to be an 1/8" thick and they cut me a piece of tubing that ended up being 3/16" thick. TOO excessive for the application I'm working on. Not to mention I see some of the employees are on their phones, not very attentive to the customers what so ever!! A couple of good experiences in the past, but I'm going to have to go somewhere else for my steel. I wouldn't recommend going here.
Apparently, they don't want my business or my money. I asked for an online quote, which I got. I needed some changes made based on what I was told, and was completely ignored. I had to ask for another online quote, which I also got. The customer agreed to the cost, and I agreed to call and place the order. I have, so far, called 15 times and was sent to VM 14 times. The 15th time, I got a person who told me to hold and then hung up on me. Not very impressed.
I used to like this place. Today very slow service ,while everyone was in the back chatting. Prices used to be very good now only so so. They charge $1 per cut,on small aluminum stock. Sorry, but for less than 20 seconds of work that is too much. I will be looking for alternatives.
Unorganized. Late. Disrespectful. Took two weeks to get a piece of steel. Had to call multiple times. Finally said it was in. Went to there shop on lunch hr and it wasnt there. Was told to wait 10min while they went to ware house. Implied it was close... it wasnt, waited 50 min. Blamed me that i was angry.
