They are the best, I travel from California to get repairs done and have been exceptionally satisfied, over the years. I have also purchased many items for my wife and some for myself, their prices and authenticity of items can't be beat!!
I live in Los Angeles and was just getting ready to refer a friend to Chuck and Joan, who I've gone to for many years -- 20 + -- maybe longer. I save up my broken pieces and when I visit New Mexico (where I'm originally from) I take my things in for them to repair. I've also bought some beautiful jewelry in their store and even done a few things via mail. I trust them implicitly. I came here to look up their number and saw the bad review and just wanted to say that man must of been trouble because the Aldrich's are wonderful, professional and courteous people.
These folks are just awesome. They took a ring that I had sort of mistreated over the years and returned it to its former glory. And...they did it for under 20 bucks! Highly recommend them.

Excellent work done quickly
Incredible, and not in a good way. I took a stone in for setting, for my wife. The service was fast, the price was low, but the quality was abysmal. The setting was junk, not even symmetrical. I pointed this out, and the huge-haired lady behind the counter simply turned her back on me. I tried to speak to the owner about it, but he is obviously psychotic as well as ancient and senile; he literally threatened to throw me through a plate glass window for complaining about the quality. I asked him point blank; "Are you threatening me?" He responded "YES!!". Uh, well... I left, and filed a police report against this psychopath. Absurd, ridiculous, insane... Run, don't walk!
