They've just recently repaved the runway surfaces and it is quite a nice set up now!

This is a wonderful little hidden gem of a park. Almost every day you can come out and watch folks flying amazing remote-control aircraft. The park is set up like an airport (look on Google Earth) with a runway. If you're interested in flying your own plane, they follow AMA rules. They have a separate area for flying helicopters. If you're lucky you'll even see remote-control jets flying out here! There are periodic air shows and even air races.
