On our third visit today, Labor Day, there were 30 customers and one very nice waiter. Took exactly 48 minutes to get our meal and it was not hot. A few folks left without getting waited on. Not a pleasant lunch experience. Will likely not return. At least they did discount our meal. And as we were leaving they brought on another waiter.
This place is so good. The pizza is amazing. There's live music. Last time I got a stuffed bell pepper and I'm still thinking about it! It was cheap too! Super pumped to go back
The classic burger reminds me of what you expect from a Texas steak house. Delicious!
Music was outstanding, Sean Smith. Very dissatisfied with service, ordered a beer,told they were out. Went with another, then when the rest of our table arrived they ordered the same beer I was told they were out of, they got that beer. Ordered the meat lovers pizza, told they were out of spicy sausage, so I went with extra pepperoni. Anther party at our table ordered a pizza that had sausage and got sausage. I'm so not impressed with my experience there. Either the kitchen staff were clueless or our server was.
The Montano plaza location is lively, usually busy when I go on the occasional Wednesday. Not the most exciting pizza, but done very well, not dripping oil. Hard to beat their beer selection. Have always had a great experience. Always telling people to visit this place, as I work in a hotel and believe that the Blue Grasshopper is one of the best brewpubs to go to if you're visiting Albuquerque. Live local music every night is an awesome touch. Keep up the great work Greg & Peter, don't let the negative comments get to you, you can't please 'em all.
Friendly service. Great local beer variety. Delicious pizza (seriously!). Most nights, there's terrific live music. Come here. You won't regret it.
