The Secret Menu: so this is a group of selections that aren't listed on the Endless Shrimp menu. You have to know about them ahead of time basically. Why? Good question, maybe they like having the buzz about it? If you google it, there is a lot of buzz about it and maybe they like that extra publicity? Your guess is as good as mine.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant in my life. Waited over an hour for a table. The staff kept making excuses saying they were getting the tables ready and never called up back . We paid for the alcoholic beverages and left. We went right down the street to Texas Roadhouse and had the best service ever. I will not eat at red lobster EVER again.
The Nashville Hot was a take on the Hand Breaded which they add honey, brown sugar, and a hot pepper (cayenne I believe). This made for a sweet and spicy mix that was very good (if not a little sticky ). I really enjoyed these.
The secret menu changes a bit each year. This year (2017) it has Grilled Shrimp (I think that's probably every year), Popcorn Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp Bites, Cape Cod Kettle Chip Crusted Shrimp, and Panko Crusted Red Shrimp.
I do Endless Shrimp every year and while the normal standbys (scampi, breaded, etc) are always good, I do like the special varieties that they change up each year. This year they did the Nashville Hot Shrimp and the Mediterranean Shrimp.
Food was not up to what it used to be. Service was slow even though they were not very busy. Great biscuits
Excellent service and made our friend's birthday awesome with their help and service. They are wonderful and will recommend anyone to go there.
The Mediterranean Shrimp is a take on the grilled shrimp (from the secret menu, more on that in a moment) and is a skewer covered in what seems to be the scampi sauce with a touch of white wine, green onions and tiny tomatoes. I did like it, and I expect that the grilled enthusiasts will love it, I guess I'm just more fried fan as the Nashville Hot was my favorite of the two.
I came in for lunch about 11:30pm and the restaurant wasn't busy yet. I got seated quickly, it was very clean, and the server was very pleasant and answered my questions quickly and correctly. The food was hot and delicious. I did the Endless Shrimp and recommend it very much.
Simply the best restaurant of our whole vacation--we returned for a second dinner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere very nice.
