Real, Neapolitan food... Recipes came straight from Naples with the owner's mom when she arrived in America. With just one bite, you can tell that their food is authentic. It's unlike any Italian food available in Albuquerque...nothing else is comparable. Great menu! Pastas, sandwiches, soups...and salad bar. All the bread is fresh and homemade... I love it! The best pizza in town... My personal favorite is their Pesto Pizza! It's unbelievable! Try the Italian sodas and cannolis for a treat. It's my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque, plus, they offer local delivery... That's how I got addicted to their food!
As a former New Yorker, I've been privileged to great Italian food. Luigi's has the closest to that great cuisine. Fabulous red sauce! This is the core to Luigi's food. Best pizza in town. Best lasagna in town. And, an unexpected surprise, green chili chicken lasagna. Don't miss it.
Surpising place, food has great flavors and they make pasta for you on demand so it doesn't go off. We have eaten here several times over last year and a half. Its a good value with great flavor... and beers.
Tried this place today on a whim, was hungry and saw it on the corner. Ordered the buffet, and was super impressed with the pasta(s) and chicken servings, it was honestly some of the best pasta I have had in quite a while. Impressive for a buffet style restaurant, however I have to take one star off for the pizza. The pizza was for the most part subpar, nothing special so I mostly stuck to the pasta unfortunate but it is what it is. Other then that I would recommend.
New to the area. Have tried the other Pizza Places in the Area wanted to try something new. Got seated and no drinks offered or appetizers. Waited for 15 minutes and decided to leave. Menu options look great.
