The whole experience couldn't have been better.
I called for appointment and the transaction went very smoothly.
Called and called and called over and over again to make an "appointment" as indicated by the reviews here... no one ever answered. SO, to the person who said to keep negative comments to themselves, could you please go stand in line and make an appointment for me since you don't think that there is anything wrong with this facility?
I walked into my appointment on time and waited about 30 minutes. This old bank building is very beautiful and the air conditioning was great.
Overall, just a model of calm efficiency.
Absolutely the rudest and most unhelpful staff in the world. They should fire them all and hire people who get the meaning of customer service!
I can't believe how negative some people are... and wish they would keep their bad comments to themselves. I have visited this location twice, and both times have experienced great service. The most recent was this past week, when I was helped by, I believe his name was Carlos. Very friendly, quick, and efficient. He went above and beyond to make get me all taken care of. It was an awesome experience, and I just want to say Thank You staff of MVD at Central- you guys are awesome! OH and I want to add- the best things are that they actually allow you to make an appointment... which is great, as I work full time. Plus their fees are so much lower than the express or MVD Now facilities.
This is a vast improvement from the old days at the MVD.

Unspeakably horrible customer service. Even with an empty waiting room, they are immediately eager to refuse to help or advise. They need the most rudimentary training in how to treat people decently. I doubt leaving a review will make any difference, they are bureaucrats with cushy government jobs and know we have no choice except to go to MVD Express and pay exorbitant fees to be treated like humans.
I was scheduled for 3 days ahead.
