Having the worst experience ever. The doctors are great however the financial part is horrific. I cant get a hold of anyone to save my life!! I am in search of $800 THEY lost and instead of having a local phone number or office I have to contact the 1-800 number and they haven't got a clue about refunds!! And when someone does call me back I cant call them back by the numbers they called from in order to give them more info because they are just general numbers. I paid this money for my daughters medical bill but somehow was sent to my account under my name not hers. This is ridiculous and I am Very agitated. I need that money back to pay my daughters bills before collection!! Its funny how I get there bills but not a refund!!
Constantly billing us and sending statements for Physicians we did not visit and billing to incorrect insurance despite numerous contacts with them.
Terrible experience all the way around. From waiting on the phone for 10 minutes to reach an actual human to keep getting redirected to leave a message and can't even leave a message. Then reaching a human who was flat out rude talking about that's not the balance I see when I have the bill in front of me, and then will not let me make a payment..WASTE OF TIME!! Just because you work at UNM doesn't make you better then anyone...customer rep i dealt with needs to take a class from continuing education for some better customer service skills!
Still have not received my refund for a payment i made in error. They are fast taking my money but now they say it might take up to a year to get it back.I hope you never have to call to get a hold of someone. It took me 7 tries and 47 minutes.
Pathetic is too kind a word for their level of incompetence. Want to pay a bill other than mailing a check? HA!! That's funny! Answer the phone? Why would they bother doing that? 6 1/2 minutes of hold then straight to voice mail. 4 times in a row over 3 days. Heck, even the phone message is in barely understandable broken english. Criminally incompetent. I've had better service in third world countries.
