This PF is my gym of choice. I've been to the one in Rio Rancho and liked it, but this one is just a cut above in terms of appearance and quality. The only reason I'm dinging a star from them is because the showers in the locker room are low enough for me to knock my head against them and the showers themselves just aren't great. Aside from that one thing, this location is excellent and staffed with friendly employees.
So what really differentiates these guys from the rest?
Large location and always clean. Staff is always very nice and personable. Crowded throughout most of the day, but still a large enough facility to where it doesn't feel packed. The gym needs more equipment for customers to use, including weights, mats and benches. Some of the weight benches are very cheap and wobble constantly when you use them. The equipment is definitely sub par in comparison to other planet fitness locations.
If you are in Albuquerque for a day, a week or months do yourself a favor and check out Planet Fitness on Irving Blvd your body will thank you.
One of the better Planet Fitness because the TV's are really far away so you can completely ignore the news.
Came here to check it out and see if I wanted to get a membership and was very disappointed. For being a big name gym they lack a variety of equipment and the equipment they do have was poor quality, several machines and benches were unstable to sit on yet alone lift heavy weight on and falling apart. The cleanliness was beyond poor with wipes laying around everywhere, I get the staff are not maids for their guests but zero effort was even attempted with the shape i saw the gym in. Needless to say even the minimum $10 monthly membership did not seem worth my money.
It is simply the people. All the staff at Planet Fitness are very knowledgeable, passionate and professional in every aspect.
Where do I start, I decided to give a gym routine a go. Walking in the front doors you are instantly greeted by the lovely staff. The staff at Planet Fitness have offered me incredible guidance, All the stuff are eager to help and willing to take time with you and the gym is simply just a fun place to hang out and the staff makes you feel like part of the Planet Fitness family - thank you to all the staff you are phenomenal!!
