I would not use Queston again to even empty my trash. Here is why. My HVAC guy said my flat roof needed some maintenance. I called Queston, the original roofer, asking for inspection and repair if needed. It took at least four calls, over a period of 4 weeks to get someone to respond. In the meantime (it is now rainy season) a small leak showed up. I was relieved when Queston finally sent someone out. Queston said the minimum charge was $85 (or maybe $95). The roofer was here less than an hour. The cost was just over $200.00, which was paid in cash. He said the reason for the higher cost was the cost of material (for a patch which later turned out to be no more than 3 feet square). I mistakenly assumed that the second area of concern had also been repaired so didn’t question the cost. I did specifically indicate the second area to him. Just to be sure, shortly after he left, called Queston asking for more info’. A week later still no response.
So my son in law got on the roof and took photos of that second area. No repair had been made. As far as I'm concerned the job was not finished. But! Why not?? I really trusted Queston to do a good job, and feel cheated.
UPDATE!!! Just now putting some things away in very top of seldom used closet. Discovered a 2nd leak. Right where I had pointed out needing to be checked. They wouldn’t know of a leak but it was obvious there was a need for repair in that area – as had been requested.
