All of my filling need to be redone. They all fell like they are going to fall out. I had to go get my crown redone because it had a crack in it. This is the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. I am 37 and my mouth has never hurt so bad. It's been 4 months since I have had the work done and they are still working on fixing there work in my mouth. BIG waste of money and time.
There are some troublesome gaps in a filling and a crown that I got here. Both have lips where they don't quite seal with the tooth, and while they're not a problem yet, my new dentist thinks the filling is probably going to need to be redone at some point in the not too distant future. I could feel them both while flossing, but Comfort Dental never really took me seriously or addressed them.
There was a time I would have given Comfort Dental 4-5 stars. Based on my experiences over the last few years though, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
As busy as they were, I was still seen on time. Most dental offices throw you in a chair and say "Open wide!" But here, I was able to meet with Dr Chris before starting anything. We discussed my concerns and expectations. He is a very friendly and high spirited dentist and we had a few good laughs.
Great dental care. You can tell that they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Wade is my dentist, and he's just plain awesome. I have severe mental health issues, and have neglected my mouth... I was having a week where I was having panic attacks, Dr. Wade assured me it would be ok and he was happy to take breaks as we needed them. They got me laughing, and by the end of my appointment I had 3-4 appointments' worth of work completed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wade and staff.
Also, looking at the X-Rays of the fillings that were done here, they're visibly bigger and less precise than the ones I got done by a really excellent dentist back when I had good insurance. I think they took way more material off than they needed to, and generally did a just adequate job on these fillings. I'm also not convinced that all of these fillings even needed to be done, honestly. My level of trust in Comfort Dental has really bottomed out.
This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. I knew the moment I called to get an appointment that this place was different. I was offered an appointment that same day, which is a lot better than other offices that schedule weeks to months away.
I finally decided to leave after my last cleaning. Despite taking FOREVER, my cleaning turned out half-assed (they kind of just didn't clean some of my teeth), and they wanted me to come in again later to finish it. I decided to just find another dentist instead.
Everyone at this office is so kind and hard working! They passed by my room and checked in on me frequently, they were willing to work with me. They did everything they could to help me and this is an absolutely wonderful dentist. It was very clean and comfortable!
I was then taken back for x-rays by his dental tech who was very gregarious and made me feel very comfortable. I am used to being treated differently because of my tattoos, but the tech had some as well so we had some common ground, and I wasn't made to feel out of place. Dr Chris then went over the dental work I need to have done, and he answered all of my questions in terms I could understand.
I was then seated with Ruth, who helped me with the most painful part of dentistry, the finances. She had a pleasant demeanor and immediately treated me like an old friend, not an ATM like any other office would. She signed me up for the discount program they offer and even got me qualified for credit right there to pay for all of the work needed. I didn't feel rushed as she took the time to listen and explain everything to me. I am actually excited to go back to the dentist, as his staff made a lasting impression.
I initially just went here because I was poor, and they were great for people with weak-sauce insurance and no money to make up the difference. Initially I had a good experience, but I feel like they went downhill in the years that followed.
