Great experience i have ever had. Every time i need a repair the owner and employees take great care of me. The work gets done right the first time and in a timely manner. I suggest this shop to everyone. They even do payment plans.
So, I've been taking my 2002 Jeep Liberty, which I bought used and had for 5 years, to Lawrence, and he takes very good care of my vehicles. They are very forthcoming, trustworthy, and have honest prices. I even have his person cell, given age of my truck and the 'emergency' calls I've had to give to him. I've had my water pump, alternator, battery, back window, entire radiator system, head lights cleaned, thermostat fixed. In March of 2017, that straw that broke the camel's back was when my transmission went out WHILE I was driving. I had it towed to his place, he gave me a quote for the fix and labor - far too much for a 15 year old vehicle and I wasn't looking into pouring too much money into it - so I went and got a new car and gave him the Jeep so that he could do what he wanted with it. I'm not from ABQ, but he's the first mechanic I've trusted with the welfare and health of my vehicle. Roc La Lu is fantastic.
I moved back to NM less than a year ago and shortly after my move needed a repair for my BMW. As a female, I look for honesty, trustworthiness and reliability all which are hard to find in the auto repair industry. This place has it all including great personalities and reasonable pricing. I have not had any issues with my car since its repair and I now take my car here for all it's maintenance needs. Roc La Lu will continue to be my go to auto repair place for all my vehicle needs.
We take all of our business vehicle to Lawerence over at Roc La Lu and he always does an amazing job at a very fair price!! The shop always seems very busy but he somehow manages a way to get us in and out quickly. Thanks for all you do!
Every single experience I've had with them has been absolutely awful. My car has had an overheat problem ever since I bought it 8 months ago. When I first brought it here, they suggested having the radiator and thermostat replaced, so they did. Didn't fix the problem. I brought it in a second time. They drove it around all day, using it run errands, and they couldn't find the problem so they called me and told me nothing is wrong with it, even though I told them it definitely overheats. Why else would I be bringing it to them?!?! Then this last time, I noticed on the phone they kept pushing for replacing parts that I already recently had replaced. Then, the worst thing, when I picked it up to take it to another shop, THEY LEFT THE RADIATOR CAP OFF. Coolant was boiling off of it and spilling everywhere! These are terrible and inconsiderate people. You don't want to deal with them, trust me.
