I needed to get my A/C fixed. I phoned Tim, and made an appointment. I was greeted on time. The technicians worked on my car for a hour and fixed my A/C to ICE COLD. The pricing was very fair!!!! I expected to pay a lot more for such great service. I would steer my mother to Plains Auto Repair! Go see these people, they will save you $$$$$..:)
My band was traveling across the nation when our fuel pump went out in our tour van. Stranded, we called around and Tim was the only guy willing to take us in immediately and help us get back on the road. He started working on it in the AM and had us on the road in the PM. Then several days later, we encountered another issue not related to the work he did, and called around for us and found another mechanic in our new territory that could help us out. I worked with Tim and he was fantastic. I'll spare you a long story and simply say they went above and beyond and charged far less than I expected. They recommended some additional services but didn't try to sell me on anything. They even gave me some pointers to the work my self.
Took more time than expected.
I am beyond impressed by this business. I took my car in for brake troubles and the (very expensive) unusual part I needed was not in town. They did many diagnostics and kept in great touch with me for the 24 hours or so that my car was in the shop. When I came to pick it up, the mechanic didn't patronize me or try to sell me anything--he was very kind, showed me exactly what the problem was (compared my car's situation with the brake master cylinder to other cars currently in the shop), and--since they couldn't fix it--he let me go without charging me a dime. Highly recommended!!
