Maaco of Albuquerque and junk yard dogs.
Pricing has gone up on the same stuff. A year after. And better work before.
I had my Bronco painted at Maaco of ABQ and I talked directly with Mike which is one of the owners. We walked around my Bronco together and I explained what needed to be painted and this included the interior and exterior of the tailgate. Mike gave me a bid that included an extra $200 for size fee from the advertised price and $100 to paint the tail gate jams. I thought the size fee was excessive because they were not painting the topper. I also thought the $100 to paint the jams was too much. I agreed to the size fee but told Mike I would paint the jams myself.
My point is, the owners behave like a couple of junk yard dogs and I do not recommend them.
Paint job on a 1998 BMW. Gel coat had gone. Had the hood, roof and trunk redone plus touch up elsewhere. Excellent match to original color. Car like brand new. Took the $1200 option with 4 year warranty. Delighted.

Great paint job for our 2000 Hyundai Elantra
Wow! what a paint job! Mike, Brenden, Billy and crew did a fantastic job on My Dodge 2500! They did more than i asked them to do without any extra charge....painted the bed white after i had prepped it for a rhino coat. Now, i've decided to leave it white. They fixed the gas tank receiver and put a nice touch by painting the gas cap cover black. The area between the cab/bed looks like they actually removed the bed to spray, but what once was black now looks solid white. Good job! The body work look immaculate. What a transformation! I got estimates from $2000 to $10,000 and Maaco did it for $3400. I would definitely recommend Mike and his crew of professionals.
I went to pick up my vehicle a week later and the interior panel of the tailgate was not painted. I brought this to the attention to Mike and he refused to take responsibility for the oversight. We went into the office and Bill the other owner got involved and they both said the tail jam is part of the interior tail gate. This was rediculous and they wanted $100 to paint the interior panel. I thought this was unfair especially since this was part of the requested work on the original bid. I offered them $50 additional to paint the tailgate to meet them half way and resolve this issue. They said no and offered a $20 discount on my $723 bill and a sandwich. I refused and went back to work without paying their price or recovering my Bronco. Later that day Bill emailed me and offered the same thing and said that if I didn't accept his terms he would start charging me a storage fee.
