Being a "chain store" I was a bit skeptical...no way, these folks are cool as hell, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I've been doing business with them for a number of years now, and they've taken great care of me...also, they stand by their products in a way most companies can't seem to understand anymore!
While a brick and mortar store can't ever really be expected to have the same variety and selection as shopping online, there really is something to be said for being able to actually try on a piece of gear before buying it. The same can be said for parts. They might not have 100 different types of tires in the store, but they offer a reasonable selection of tires ranging from super sport to dirt bike and everything in between. Their pricing for mounting tires is also pretty reasonable if you don't want to do it yourself. I consistently enjoy looking through their bargain bin just to see what random stuff shows up in there. You'll usually find a grunge brush, 12v outlet, cargo net, and some other random stuff in there for $10. All in all, not a bad joint, and the lifetime warranty on one of their house brands is pretty nice too.
Ordering online is easy. Going to the store to touch the item is 100% better. I went to the store, didn't find what I wanted, so they ordered it from their online store. Item arrived at the store three days later. If I hadn't liked it, there would have been no shipping charge or going to ship it. The folks at the store were very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Cycle Gear covers all kinds of motorcycling from off road to luxury touring. Go there, keep local people and stores up and running.
Had the helmet I was looking for at a good price. Girl behind counter went above and beyond by installing my headset. Thanks.
Love these guys! Everybody wan't to help you each and every time I go in. If they don't have it, they'll will get it for you. Cant say enough about this location. They even helped me install some small equipment on my bike. Great place to shop. I'll be back!
