I was just trying to get it done today for my wife as surprise and was told off for no reason, crummy service and that was just the phone call. By the way I just called Venegas & sons and they are doing it for less.
George was rude and unprofessional. I had him come in and measure and asked him for a bid. The only thing he told me price wise was how much the fabric I wanted cost and said that there were cheaper kinds he could do a bid with. I said great as we are a small non-profit. But as I have no idea what something like what I was asking would cost, I was hoping for a ballpark. Like a million dollars? 5k? Literally was pretty certain my board was gonna go forward regardless, as long as it was industry standard and so waited to hear from George since he promised to get back to me with a bid. Over a week later I called him and at first he said nothing. Then he said that he decided not to do it. I said OK, do you have someone you recommend and he said not who would want to do it. So I asked, can you tell me why and he said well you told me you couldn't afford it. I said you didn't even tell me how much how could I not afford it? He referred to our conversation about the fabric. I said well we can afford it and then I realized I was begging this guy to take our money so I hung up. Kinda a jerk and most definitely lacking in customer service skills.
Just had my sofa, loveseat and large chair redone and the work is beautiful. Mr. Pachecho has years of experience, and this big order only took 2 weeks. I highly recommend this shop.
This guy is a jerk, I have a commuter car my wife uses and the headliner is starting to sag . I called in and asked if I could get a quote . "Can you tell me the A quote for a 2001 Honda Civic two door headliner replacement ?" To he replies "does it have a sunroof?" I said, "no." "he says it's $275." I said wow $275, that's what it cost for a headliner. Okay.." He cuts me off when I was getting ready to ask if he could do it today and asked me. "Do you know how to do it?" I say, "I'm sorry???" He says rudely "well do you or not? " I say, "no" he then says, "well you called me, so if you don't know how to do it yourself. Then that's what it cost", and hung up.
George is always good to me. We run a medium sized commercial gym. Everything George has done for me had help up for two years of abuse by some of the strongest people in town. He's the only guy I go to!
