I have purchased 2 new Forest River travel trailers over the last year at Chisolm Trails. Joe (sales manager) has been very helpful and easy to deal with and I have recommended friends that have also purchased there. JD in service is also helpful and provides good customer service and is always available to answer a question.
Don't bother. Very poor customer service. We took our RV in to have the bearings repacked. The service manager and I did a walk around when I dropped it off to make sure there were no dents or dings. Picked it up three days later and should have done another walk around before we left the lot. When we got it home we found a deep dent on the side of our trailer. They refused to own up to any responsibility for damaging my RV. I will never do business at this place.
Bought a used 30 ft 5th wheel here and got a pretty good deal I guess,was told before it left the lot,a super inspection was performed. We paid cash,took possession and went to a State park in Southern NM. Checked in,hooked up and water gushed from underneath. My friend checked and showed me where the water pump and other water lines unconnected and just laying on the floor. Took it up with our sales guy and he did Nothing. Went to sales department,they looked me up and said it was not even winterized,furthermore a performed inspection. My hitch for the 5th wheel never works,took it in to them and they say no problem. Really poor customer service,unfortunately the owner is gone or I would take it up with him....very disappointed. Not recommended at all.
Great place and friendly sales people. However I was being charged $130 for a brake line and brake control installation. When I took my truck in a year later to get the procedure done I was being charged $110 per hour and I was told it was a 4 hour job. They said I cancelled the first installment. However the $130 was added to the final cost of my trailer. It's funny how that $130 was canceled on my end but that $130 was never taken off of the final cost which I still pay for every month. I spoke with Nicole and she was unwilling to help or even discuss the situation. She was very rude through the process on the phone and in person. Like I said before, the sales people are great but anyone above them can care less about any other need after the sale has been made and finalized.
Could not have been more helpful, friendly, welcoming or professional plus a good price. Battery failed on our 2 year old travel trailer. On a busy day, they diagnosed the problem and installed a top brand high capacity battery at a good price. In and out in less then an hour. Great Dealership and really nice people.
