So bad! I was really excited to eat their bbq. They have great reviews, I thought the bad reviews were from those annoying people who just complain about everything. Sadly they were right. I ordered a chicken sandwich, it was full of bones! I would have stopped at the first but I was super hungry and I didn't think I would keep finding bones. My dad ordered the brisket, he is so disappointed. He said it's the worst he's ever had. :( No smoke ring, and not cut against the grain, it was super chewy and tough. Beans, dirty rice and Mac n cheese mediocre. Rudy's is the better option.

Our friends wanted to try their bbq and we thought it was a safe bet with them being on the food network channel. Sad disappointment. The food was horrible everything tastes like smoke, cornbread included. It tasted like I was chewing a coal, left a nasty film in my mouth. On the way home husband said it must have not sat well with him... he ended up vomiting right outside our home. Disgusting would never go back or recommend.
So good! I had the chopped pork sandwich and baked beans, and my boyfriend had the brisket plate with collared greens and fried okra. Both plates were more than enough for us, with us taking some home. Pepper was super friendly, and his staff were really attentive. If you like BBQ, this should be a must have!
First time coming to Peppers. Me and my bf have been active The Cube goers so we were pretty skeptical that this would be better. Upon arrival the boss man came uo and talked to us and his server was very nice. Now on to the good part :the food. It was phenomenal. The brisket was enough for lunch and dinner. The mac and cheese was great as well. So for my first time it was amazing! Will come back again.
Authentic southern soul food. Catfish is best in Albuquerque and the baked beans are to die for. It's all good ! Laid back atmosphere which I love.
