We were in town from Texas for the 2017 Balloon Festival. We decided on this restaurant after reading the reviews. We were very satisfied. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere welcoming. Our waitress, Paulette, was very friendly and accommodating. We will defienately visit again if in Albuquerque.
I just can't with this place no sense of urgency in service, microwave chiefs, over priced local beer, most customers come in due to habit; not that they like this place. Local dive if your a passer-by, pass on this place. Takes 15 mins to get silverware, another for water or even take your order. At least they have been consistently lacking every time my in-law drags me to this place. I ask every time WHY? Their response "out of habit" so I've been exposing them the better options since. They ordered spaghetti and meatballs, they got spaghetti with red sauce. How do you forget meatballs in this combination? Then have to wait and ask 3 separate times for meatballs then get two of the smallest microwavable meatballs. This place is a joke!
I have never had anything that I didn't not enjoy. Everything on the menu is delicious and the portions are enough to satisfy just about anyone. Would have to say it is the best Italian food in town.
My favorite Italian buffet in ABQ. It also has a very diverse menu. The staff is welcoming, and the owner is very friendly, accessible, and accommodating. We arrived close to the end of the buffet time, but we were welcomed as if we were the first guests. The buffet has choices for nearly every palette, and everything had a wonderful flavor and unquestionably unique to this establishment.
I visited today. Being in the industry for over 30 years, I can be very critical. I know what I expect and today those expectations weren't even close. The food mediocre at best the service failed completely. Our waiter didn't even ask if we were interested in any dessert, which we were. At that point it was best to leave. I had been here before and was pleased. Had it been busy I might have understood. Yet there were more employees than patrons upon arrival.
