Pricing with all you can eat is a bit tricky. Then you're not getting their best. It's best to order exactly what you want, per dish, then you will be satisfied.
The baked Salmon dish is simply stellar, all taste, yummiest!
First rate Sushi. Warm Sushi rolls are the best, not only cold rolls.
Staff had come and gone, but the people we encounter are great.
Others have said the staff is non receptive, but we've been going for about 2years and all the wait staff and the owner are super nice people, never any inattentive problems or rude as other reviewers have noted.
The staff was polite and the sushi was phenomenal. Great first experience in this restaurant.
Price is probably a little on the high side but it is not fast food like a burger joint. Come and take your time! It does take a little prep time as nothing is made beforehand.
We think this is the best in Albuquerque.
Good sushi! Just beware, all you can eat doesn't really apply unless you can get it all in 2 orders. Not a huge deal, just make sure what you ordered will fill you up after the second order. One time, they told me and my friends after we sent in our second order that they were "worried that we would not finish all of the food and much of it would go to waste." We assured them not to underestimate 3 college students (at the time) who were hungry for some sushi. We ate every bite. Definitely my go to when I want to splurge on a ton of sushi.
The restaurant is located immediately next to a beat up trashy motel. It should have been a sign for the experience to come. Inside of the restaurant looks nice enough. Service however was not good. Staff does not have a very friendly demeanor at all. After we got our sushi we were basically forgotten. No one checked on us for a very long time. We had to flag the staff down any time we needed something. Waitress forgot our order as well. Waiting for the second round of sushi took so long we ended up canceling it and leaving. When the sushi did come out for the first round it looked beautiful, but most of the rolls fell right apart when picked up. The icing on the cake was the baby roach that crawled across the wall before we got up from the table and decided to cancel our last order finally. Could not believe it. Will definitely not be back.
This is also the Korean Barbecue House, same building, same room.
I went here for a going away party and a bunch of people got the all you can eat sushi. I can tell you the owners get weird about what you can order and how much, and they will do stuff like balk if you leave a lot of rice on your plate. There is one vegetarian option - tofu and huge bell pepper chunks in a sweet sauce. I would advise you to skip this place and go to Shogun a few blocks east.
