So my 2 year old, 2 month old, husband and I went to hurricanes today. We got our drinks and sat in our booth waiting close to 35 minutes to order food. Meanwhile, the person who gave us the drinks passed by us a dozen times, effectively ignoring us. I've worked with food for years and I get being short staffed. But you don't straight up ignore your customers. You say you're busy and sorry for the wait or close the store. I don't appreciate being obviously ignored. Happy labor day...
My wife and I usually go to Hurricanes for their fantastic breakfasts, but today we had urgent auto activities in the Lomas car repair area, so we stopped by for brunch / lunch – as usual, the food was simply delicious and outstanding! I ordered the Burrito Platter – owner Frank suggested with Carne Asada – and it was absolutely mouth-watering fantastic! My wife ordered the Burrito Supreme with ham and vegetables instead of potatoes (a low-cal diet), and she devoured it more quickly than usual (well, just my observation!). Service was super quick, prices were very good for such large portions, and the old-style diner ambience was quite evocative of The Ol’Days. Definitely highly recommended, especially if you’re on a budget.
1st time eating here and it was amazing staff was friendly and smiled the waitress even answered a question we had about the restaurants history will definitely come here again and agin.had the chicken fried steak dinner it was deliciouse and my buddy had the earthquake burger lets just say it was gone fast but savored thank you hurricanes cafe for the service
Good food but each time I've ordered from hurricanes I've found long hairs in my food so I probably won't eat there again.
Great food, good prices, staff are always cheerful.
