If you're in Albuquerque, you really don't want to miss this place. They have all the traditional diner-style food, plus some southwest dishes. Service is fast and the food comes out hot and delicious. Excellent burgers and rings.
Went in well after breakfast, hardly busy.. They somehow managed to mess up a request of 'burnt hash browns on the side, instead of inside'. When I asked for my hash browns, guy referred to his lead.. Lead guy blew it off..! Then turned and looked at my order and called it out again that it was ready as he looked right at me! I couldn't believe it!! I called them on it, then the owner came out and shh'd me because I was upset, "and you wonder why I was pissed"? WOW!!!
They have amazing breakfast choices. Delicious burgers. Those cinnamon rolls will have you driving to grab a few at midnight while pregnant. Just remember the parking in the back is timed. Sometimes I let time slip past me here. It's a great local spot.
Good, affordable food that's open almost anytime. (I think they're closed between 1am-5am.) There's a good variety - burgers, burritos, salads, etc. And they have awesome specials. Some vegetarian options. Free water. Awesome sweet rolls. Lots of seating but can get very busy. Would definitely recommend.
So unique for someone from the east coast. You walk in and the line may be long but the wait is short. The owners are there to help you get to the Pierson who takes your order. You get a number and sit down until it is called. They have meals coming out the kitchen about every 30 seconds. The are working feverishly back there. The food? Wonderful. I had the western omelette. My wife had the chicken tenders and the sweet roll (made fresh in front if you). We were in and out within 40 minutes. And were stuffed. Must visit if in Albuquerque. The pictures and antiques they hang on the walls are awesome too.
In closing.. Terrible staff, mediocre food, and ridiculous prices.
