This place has a great roof top lounge with an incredible Albuquerque atmosphere, up scale compared to most places downtown and always busy!
Love their music selection. Especially on nights they place some good ole jams. Love the rooftop deck but it gets really crowded sometimes. Bartenders are good too. Very efficient.
I have to say unfortunately i agree the bouncers here are very agressive and racist. I'm not one to say racism is some where it isnt but several months ago me (mixed) my black friend and native friend tried to get inside the bouncers immediately looked at us and said we all had baggy pants and were refused entry. Honestly my pants were not baggy nor my friends my black friend had such tight pants we even made fun of him jokingly earlier in the day. What bothered me the most i felt this unfair treatment so stood across the street and watched who they allowed in for 10 mins ZERO white refusals 1 guy even had baggy khaki type of cheap shorts n no problem. Please if you feel discriminated against or witness document its 2017 and has to change. I went there before this incident 1 time with a girl and that night was awesome i dnt know what happened the next time i blame the bouncers.
Always had good times here until this past Saturday. One bouncer needs to be let go. Never saw him before that night. He kept slapping my friend on the shoulder to make us move and stared us down until we did. Later on the dance floor he grabbed me and when I swated his hand away he proceeded to ask for my id to make us leave, telling us to have a nice night and never come back. I really like the bartenders here but after that I'll probably never go back. Canvas and monte vista had way better service.
Strict dress code but good Tuesday night dance sessions. Dj is okay
