What a waste of taxpayers' money! There is never anybody in this place. And you can't email or chat with anyone. Jesus...
I really have high hopes that the new president cleans HSLIC up. (Staff, write to her or your local congressman!) It's unconscionable to do this to hardworking UNM students and New Mexico in general. Especially while UNM is bleeding student enrollment every single year and keeps laying off staff.
They only have check-out people. I'm a nursing student but had to walk a mile to Zimmermann for help. Does this place need a management change? You betcha!
The library is run by a director who should have retired decades ago. She treats her staff like children and neither UNM or HSC does anything about it.
Horrid to place to work. I worked here for 2 years. What a waste!
Just look at her and her visiting faculty salaries. (Google sunshine portal) And then look at staff salaries that haven't gone up in years.
