If I ever get bored I know just the place to go, the library! It always fills me with more ideas for things to do I usually have months of ideas to do.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but these smart phones have made us dumber, my new year resolution this year is to learn the important phone numbers & to Google half as much!

It's dingy and crowded with some rather unsavory characters. I feel uncomfortable going to this branch. I've visited several of the other branch locations across the city and they are much nicer with a better selection. I'm not sure why they even have a juvenile section as there are never any children in this library. If I were a parent I wouldn't bring my child here either so I guess I can understand. Check the catalog online before visiting and if the material you are looking for can be found at any other location, do yourself and your senses a favor and get it anywhere else but here.

Homeless people use the bathroom for washing clothes and body. They are also outside in abundance of transients due to the bus stop in front of the library entrance. They can be a bit intimidating at times. It smells so bad throughout the whole building, especially in the lobby, that I can never stay as long as I would like. Its too bad, because other than that its a wonderful facility and I can always find good books!

The wifi does not have a strong connection and it appears as though the carpet and chairs have not been updated since the 1970's. There is of course a large gathering of loud, obnoxious adults on cell phones as can be expected at any downtown library location throughout this country. There is no free parking at this location, which is disappointing given the state of this facility.
