Awesome shop, always have what I need fast.
I then went to another nut and bolt shop, Copper State Nut and Bolt. I went in the store exactly as I did your shop. I showed the employee the tool and what I needed to get (2 specialty screws) and showed him the stripped socket. He immediately said "Well let me see if I can get this off." He measured the tool and showed me a screw that would work. He and another employee both worked to get the stripped screw off. He put the new wheels on, tightened it and when I offered to pay he said with a smile "no charge". WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! This is where I will go for my business.
Needed some hard-to-find bolts for a transfer case rebuild and didn't have any luck finding them at the usual places (Lowes, ACE, etc.). Gave this place a try and had what I needed within minutes. I wish I had known of this place sooner.
In my opinion this employee should be let go. Or at least he should be required to take some customer service courses to learn how to treat a customer (or maybe just women!) In a place of business with politeness, courtesy and respect. I wouldnt even give this business 1 star but that's the least of the stars.
Great source for hard to find bolts and fasteners and at much better prices than big box stores. Good and friendly service.
This rude lady (Peggy)was insisting on a service we do not provide. We have been in business for over 40 years and we cater to all customers equally. No one BARKED at this person. We will help any customer identify and supply a replacement. We DO NOT remove or service any tools, engines, appliances or any thing else. Bring us your bolt or screw and we will do are best to match it.
On Monday, June 5, 2017 I visited your business. One employee was on the phone and while I waited another employee named Jeff came in. He asked me if I had been helped and I said "no." I proceeded to show him a small glass cutting tool that I needed 2 specialty screws for. The tool required an Allen wrench to tighten and loosen the screws and one was stripped and therefore I couldn't get the screw off. I needed to replace the wheel blades which I had and needed to buy 2 new screws. First thing he said (barked actually) was, "This in not a repair shop! Take the wheels off, bring it back and then I'll help you." "Oh" I said. "Well one screw I can still get off (so I could buy the right screws), do you happen to have an Allen wrench I could use?" "No" he barked again, NO tools here!" And this was the end of his "help." I was flabbergasted. I put my tool back in the bag and left. This man has horrendous customer service (I can't even call it customer service). I couldn't believe his attitude. In no way did he even begin to be polite or helpful. Obviously I was just a (female) nuisance that walked into his shop.
This lady(?) had the gall to send guy a into our business to try to intimidate and ridicule us. Thank goodness we don't get jerks like this very often.
I later called your shop to get the name of the employee (Jeff) and let him know he was quite rude to me. He had the gall to tell me I was rude to him as I didn't say anything when I left. What was I supposed to say? Normally I would say "thank you" or " you've been very helpful" but not in this case. There was absolutely nothing to say that wasn't negative so I just left. And I told him I would write my review of my experience and he said "Fantastic!"
